AP CM YS Jagan has been known for responding quick enough and compassionately for issues faced by public of his state. YS Jagan released funds for various welfare schemes even though state financial situation has been volatile and going through big turmoil. YS Jagan now asked officers to immediately help Ananthapur Flood victims.
Ananthapur district received never before seen amount of rainfall alike Hyderabad and due to these huge rains, huge floods have damaged the district. Floods and overflow of canals, tanks have resulted in breaking of bridges, damage of highways and roads at never before seen level. YS Jagan asked officials to bring the initial estimates of the damage caused by floods to his table. After going through them, YS Jagan announced Rs.2000 to be released as interim funds for Flood victims.
YS Jagan, later announced that he will completely go through the details about the damages caused by the calamity and ask disaster management officials to quickly work on recovery. He also promised to help Ananthapur district people in all ways possible for a quick and sustaining recovery, once rains subside.
