ACB Court postpones verdict on Nara Chandrababu Naidu house arrest plea!

Court did not allow bail petition to be filed till house arrest plea is stricken off or verdict is given out. Nara Chandrababu Naidu has been allowed to take home food and medicines from time to time. He will be given VIP treatment in the Jail.

ACB – Anti Corruption Bureau Court has been hearing about Nara Chandrababu Naidu house arrest and bail pleas. On 9th September, former CM of Andhra Pradesh, has been arrested by AP CID officials. Nara Chandrababu Naidu is facing charges in Skill Development Scam for corruption amounting to Rs.371 crores. CID has stated that there are proofs of amounts being sent to Shell companies in different countries. They stated that Nara Chandrababu Naidu needs to talk about the money distribution in their inquiry. TDP leaders and cadre have called for Bandh on 11th September, too.

On 10th September, he has been presented in front of ACB Court. Judge has found CID lawyers and AAG Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy arguments. Siddharth Luthra, Supreme Court lawyer, has been flown in specially to argue for Nara Chandrababu Naidu from Delhi. ACB Judge has given him 14 days remand till 22nd of September. During the night time, CID officials have transfered him to Rajahmundry Central Jail. Nara Chandrababu Naidu has been given prisoner number 7691. On 11th September, Lawyers have pleaded ACB Court to allow for house arrest and if court declines for bail.

NCBN lawyers asked for house arrest keeping their client’s age, 40 years of experience in politics and public service. Right now, Nandamuri Balakrishna and Nara Lokesh are talking to TDP leaders and cadre about future programs.
