Rahul Gandhi addressed Lok Sabha on Friday on the Women’s Reservation and Delimitation Bills. During the Congress leader’s speech, assembly laughed at his witticisms. The Congress MP said that women in the form of mother, sister and wife have a great influence in everyone’s life. He said that we see a woman as a force, a force that leads a life. He also said everyone is greatly influenced by their mother, sister and wife.
However, while Rahul Gandhi making these comments, he said I and Prime Minister Narendra Modi do not have a “wife problem”. Rahul Gandhi was referring to his sister, Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi’s speech on the Women’s Reservation Bill on Thursday. He praised his sister’s speech as excellent. “Yesterday, I saw my sister accomplish in 5 minutes what I probably could not have done in my 20 years of political career. That means she made Amit Shah laugh.
Speaking in the Lok Sabha on Thursday, Priyanka Gandhi criticized the Women’s Reservation Bill. As this bill stands, her satires on Chanakya drew laughter in the House. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also laughed at Priyanka’s comments. “You all came with a clear plan. If Chanakya were alive today, he would have been surprised by your trickery,” she said. Ministers Kiren Rijiju along with Amit Shah laughed at these comments.
