Modi Calls Women’s Bill Historic, Slams Opposition in Lok Sabha

Prime Minister Modi made key comments in Lok Sabha on the re-distribution of constituencies. He spoke on 131 Constitution Amendment Bill on Thursday. He said the bill which should have been passed 30 years ago has now come before the House. He said there will be some key moments in the history of the country and this is also such a time. We are also advised to change with time. Also said India is developed only if women are empowered and steps are being taken to change the country in a new direction. It is stated that if women are empowered they will show a new way. The Women’s Bill hailed as a miracle in the history of the country.

Prime Minister Modi said that we are going to create history through this bill. He warned that the role of women in the development of the country is very important and the women’s world will not forgive those who oppose this bill. He reminded that the opposition has agreed to the Women’s Bill in 2024. He said that only those who support this bill will have political survival. The Prime Minister expressed anger at the opposition that the bill is being blocked now if it comes before the Lok Sabha. PM clarified that there is no political malice in bringing this bill. A warning was given that the women would attack those who wronged them. Opposition leaders are accused of not supporting the bill due to fear of losing their positions.

Modi clarified that this is not a bill brought for political parties but a bill brought for the people of the country. Duyyabatta said that today women are showing their power in all fields and this bill should be brought sometime, the previous governments failed to bring this bill. He said that women are ready to show their strength in politics and because women are part of politics at the village level, their political awareness has increased. The Prime Minister questioned whether there should be reservations in the Panchayats, not in the Parliament.
