Stepwell in Indore Temple during Rama Navami pooja, collapsed all of a sudden. The reason for collapse is stated to be over-weight on the Stepwell by many devotees sitting on it all at once. Over 30 people got injured in this incident. 12 people have died as flooring collapsed on them while 19 people are saved by police with injuries. Stepwell collapse has made devotees think about Temples and their maintenance, all at once.
Actually, temple management has asked people to adjust on the strong floor. But devotees have come in a huge number and some of them settled on the Stepwell. Hence, it collapsed and caused this huge accident. The well is 50 feet deep and police had to work for hours to save those injured and recover the bodies of devotees who died on impact. Most of them have been sent to nearby hospitals for shock and trauma treatment. Stepwell collapse as even reached Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He expressed great concern and shock about the incident. He called MP CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan about the incident. PM Narendra Modi expressed his condolences to the families of the effected. Stepwell collapse has become a trending topic in social media. Several devotees are praying for the well-being of everyone. While others are trolling devotees for being reckless. Stepwell collapse incidents should never repeat.
