Masks are no longer compulsory in Airways

After Covid-19 infections have gone on rise, wearing Masks or face protection gear has been made a compulsory or mandatory on Indian Railways and Airways.

After Covid-19 infections have gone on rise, wearing Masks or face protection gear has been made a compulsory or mandatory on Indian Railways and Airways. International Airlines do not allow passengers to board without masks and unless they submit Covid-19 tests. Indian Domestic Airways have made it compulsory to wear a mask or protective gear while flying.

Indian Aviation Ministry as directed the Covid-19 regulations looking at the infections on rise. For most part of 2020, Airways had to shut shop and Railways have been allowed to run at a later stage but Airways came into prominent travel in 2021. Masks and tests for Covid-19 infections, Vaccine certificates have been made compulsory by Indian Aviation Ministry, till date. Now, the infections have come down and 4th Covid-19 wave has not been so frightening as anticipated.

Hence, Indian Aviation Ministry has removed the compulsory or mandatory status for wearing Masks and protection gear in Airways for all passengers from International and Domestic Airlines. But Indian Aviation Ministry has advised people to keep wearing Masks, just for safety precaution as they want to keep the infections at the low levels, as they have been.
