Ramayana: Part 1 is targetting the Diwali 2026 release marking the biggest festive window available for the release. Yash said, ”Ramayana, we are planning this year. This year, Diwali, which is in October last week. Ramayana has a certain substance that stays with you for a long time.”
Yash further spoke about the film and said, “The very reason this story has endured for so long, and gone beyond boundaries, almost transcending cultures, where people truly own it, suggests there’s something deeply universal about it. And I feel that experiencing it on the big screen, with today’s technology, could make it feel even more immersive and unique for audiences, something they can truly take in and enjoy the way it’s meant to be seen”.
Ramayan features Ranbir kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, KGF star Yash plays the powerful role of Ravana, Many other star actors like Sunny deol plays Hanuman and Ravie Dubey is set to play Lakshman. South Actresses Kajal Aggarwal plays Mandodri and Rakul Preet Singh plays Surpanakha.
