VV Vinayak has opened up on the one genre he doesn’t like to watch. In his latest interview, the ‘Khaidi No. 150’ actor said that he will never touch the horror genre in his career for the reason that he has always disliked it ever since he watched ‘Purana Haveli’ (Hindi) many years ago.
In his career spanning almost two decades, Vinayak has made semi-family entertainers and even semi-comedies like ‘Adhurs’. But horror is something he has not dabbled in. We now know the reason why. No star director likes it usually.
The director has cast Bellamkonda Sreenivas in ‘Chatrapathi’ (Hindi), for which he has stepped into the shoes of SS Rajamouli. “Pen Studios is making the film on a lavish scale,” Vinayak said. Recently, a village set worth Rs 3 Cr was damaged by the Hyderabad rains.
Vinayak commented that he would like to work with Pawan Kalyan and prefers Power Star to Mahesh Babu. “It’s because I don’t know Mahesh garu personally. I think I will prefer Pawan garu because I have some sort of rapport with him,” the ‘Adhurs’ and ‘Tagore’ director said.
