
Mark Antony is the new film starring Vishal, SJ Suryah, Suneel, Ritu Verma in lead roles. The movie is scheduled for release on 15th September. Vishal is playing dual role in the film and he will be seen time-travelling as well. Mark Antony is slated to be a whacky comic cracker from Adhik Ravichandran. Vishal has high hopes from the film as he is going through a lean patch in his career. Mark Antony received a stay from Madras High Court on 8th September.
The court issued stay and ban on the release as Vishal failed to repay Rs.21.29 crores loan from Lyca Productions. The actor-producer has been asked to appear in person in front of Court on 12th September. Before 8th September, Court has asked him to deposit Rs.12 crores.
Lyca Productions told court that he failed, they issued ban and stay on release. Vishal sorted the issue in court to get stay on Mark Antony release, vacated. Vishal, who is also the producer of the film wrote on Twitter, “No objection in court to release the movie Mark Antony, Stay vacated. Mark Antony all set to release on Sep 15th Worldwide and 22nd in Hindi, GB.”

He sorted the issue amicably with Lyca Productions to get his film released. The actor-producer thanked God for the blessing and stated to audiences that Mark Antony will be a different experience. During the shoot, Vishal escaped a major life-threatening accident as well.
In the trailer, makers have shown digitally re-created Silk Smita and there are many surprises to come, promise makers. Mark Antony will release on 15th September and hope to cash in on long Vinayaka Chaturthi weekend. Pre-scheduled for the date, Skanda and Chandramukhi 2 have been postponed to 28th September, after Salaar postponement.
