Even though Varisu has gone on to sets while Beast was releasing in April, Thalapathy fans have been more interested in knowing about if Thalapathy67 would be a part of LCU, as Lokesh Kanagaraj is directing it. Vikram movie opened possibilities for Lokesh Kanagaraj to make ensemble films as Suriya appeared as Rolex, a gangster that even biggest of gangsters fear. Vijay fans want to see him in combination with other big actor in such connected Universe, LCU.
The movie opening day ceremony has been held in silence and Thalapathy67 updates are the only thing that Vijay fans are talking about. Tamil Cinema media is trying to ask Lokesh Kanagraj, the producers of the film to release something or give out some information about the film. Lokesh Kangaraj already promised to Vijay fans that he will be making a film that will be more his movie than a Vijay film. He meant he won’t repeat mistakes he did in Master.
Now, fans want him to confirm if he is doing a LCU film with Vijay. Lokesh Kanagaraj speaking at a film based function stated that the Thalapathy67 updates will only come after Varisu release. He also reiterated that it is a gangster film and the cast has been finalized already. Vishal announced that he got an offer from Lokesh Kanagaraj but he couldn’t give dates. He also said that he will try to direct Vijay, with a good commercial script and produce it. So, even though Vijay fans are eager to see the teaser like Vikram with Vijay, Lokesh wants some more time to make it all good and ready. So, it is time to concentrate on Varisu than Thalapathy67, this close to release.
