Vijay, who became Thalapathy of Tamil Cinema, started working with Lokesh Kanagaraj for Leo. He did Master with him before and this is director’s next after Vikram. Fans of Vijay are expecting this film to be part of Lokesh Cinematic Universe, LCU. Means it to be connected to his films like Khaithi and Vikram. Vijay is doing a gangster film, almost for the first time, in his career.
He did many action movies and gang war oriented commercial films. But Leo is said to be complete Gangster genre film. It is also an ensemble film with Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Trisha Krishnan being part of the film. Vijay and Lokesh Kangaraj decided to make it never before seen visual experience for Tamil audiences. Trisha, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin and several others flown to Kashmir for a huge schedule. Vijay participated in major portion of the schedule and Sanjay Dutt also joined for few days.
Mysskin portion has been completed in this schedule. Major part of the crew of Leo, gone to Kashmir, for the first time from Tamil Nadu. So, as a tribute to them, Leo team released a video of them explaining the situation. Vijay fans are expecting huge box office with this film.
