A screening of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, starring Pawan Kalyan, was stopped midway at a theatre in the UK after fan celebrations got out of control.

Fans of the Telugu superstar turned up in large numbers and created a festive atmosphere both inside and outside the theatre. They were seen throwing papers, whistling, shouting, and clapping loudly. However, the fun did not go down well with the theatre staff. Concerned about the chaos, staff members entered the hall and stopped the screening.

A video of the incident was recorded by someone in the audience and later shared on social media. The clip clearly shows the movie screen going dark while theatre staff argue with fans. The caption on the video read, “Indian movie screening stopped in the UK due to fan noise.” The post received mixed reactions online. One user commented, “What’s wrong with enjoying a movie with cheers and whistles?”

Back in India, the film’s premiere created a similar buzz. Fans in Telugu states celebrated the release with band music, DJs, and fireworks, especially in Hyderabad. The excitement was high as this was Pawan Kalyan’s first theatrical release in nearly three years.

Released on 24 July, Hari Hara Veera Mallu has opened to massive success. The film earned ₹12.7 crore from advance premiere shows and went on to collect ₹31.50 crore across languages on its opening day. Its total gross so far stands at ₹44.20 crore, making it the biggest opening in Pawan Kalyan’s career.

Despite the screening trouble in the UK, the Pawan Kalyan film’s strong box office performance proves the power of Pawan Kalyan’s fan base, both in India and abroad.
