Star director Trivikram Srinivas is said to be closely guiding the film career of Tollywood’s “Power Star” Pawan Kalyan. According to film circles, Trivikram has taken on the responsibility of shaping the actor’s future projects. Reports suggest that two to three scripts are already ready, with trusted producers in talks to take them forward.
Interestingly, one of these is rumoured to be a remake. However, it is also being said that Trivikram may not direct Pawan himself in the near future. Instead, he seems to be acting as a mentor and advisor, helping to plan the actor’s next steps while he continues his political journey.
Pawan Kalyan, who is currently serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has managed to balance politics and cinema in recent months. Earlier this year, he appeared in Hari Hara Veera Mallu, a lavish period drama, where his performance as Veeramallu received much appreciation from audiences. His next big release will be OG, a gangster drama directed by Sujeeth. The film has already completed its shooting and is now in post-production. Makers have announced that the movie will be released on 25 September, just in time for the Dussehra festival, and it is expected to draw huge crowds to theatres.
In addition to this, Pawan is also working on Ustaad Bhagat Singh, directed by Harish Shankar. This project is still in its shooting phase and is expected to hit screens next year. Beyond these confirmed films, there is no clarity on whether Pawan will immediately sign new projects, as his political commitments remain his main focus.
During the promotions of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, Pawan himself hinted that he might step into production and support films from behind the scenes. Now, with Trivikram actively involved, the industry believes that Pawan’s film career will continue to take shape, even if at a slower pace. Some reports even suggest that Pawan may return in a bigger way with fresh projects around 2027. Until then, fans are eagerly waiting for his upcoming releases and watching how Trivikram’s influence will shape his path.
