Ravi Teja needs a big blockbuster as he has gone through big disappointments in recent years. For him, Tiger Nageswara Rao is a big step forward for him in his career as he also got into Pan-India bandwagon with this film. Vamsee has debuted with this film as writer-director.
He has been waiting to make this film from past 4 years. He researched about Stuartpuram Nageswara Rao who got be known as Tiger Nageswara Rao, later. Movie has been produced by Abhishek Agarwal and has GV Prakash Kumar music as well. Let’s discuss about Tiger Nageswara Rao film in detail.

Tiger Negeswara Rao Analysis:
Ravi Teja has become Mass Maharaja because of his pooularity in masses and his crazy entertainers, histrionics. From few films, Ravi Teja is not finding similar connect with masses. Tiger Nageswara Rao, can be added to that list. In a character that has negative and positive traits, Ravi Teja could have easily delivered another great performance. But the writing falls flat in the second half, trying to show Tiger Nageswara Rao as a messiah. Ravi Teja character and performance gradually fall into regular territory due to this over glorification.

Well, Veerappan followers would also talk about him as their God, but that doesn’t purify his crimes. Similarly, Tiger Nageswara Rao story needed a balanced view where he is shown as a human who is pulling off some improbable things. Tiger Nageswara Rao is almost shown as a superhero and glorified to such extent that even if he breathes it is for people. This kind of glorification and trying hard to make everything he does as a heroic act damages the narrative. Also, trying hard to re-create KGF style screenplay hurts the story. Not all criminals and their activities need to be justified or over dramatized.
Tiger Nageswara Rao suffers with over ambitious nature in the screenplay. It tries to too many things at a time like a commercial cinema of a top star and also a story based on a true character. The narrative looses grip as it progresses into hero worship zone in the second half. Nupur Sanon, Gayathire characters, Nasser, Anupam Kher, Murali Sharma characters also don’t really add to the story. Ravi Teja tries hard to shoulder it but he couldn’t save it after a point. Tiger Nageswara Rao needed Vamsee to ground his ambition and then pick a narrative. As he tried too many things, it has ended up being a long and over-stretched uninteresting cinema.
Tiger Nageswara Rao Positives:
Ravi Teja Performance
Nupur Sanon and Gayathri oomph factor
One action sequence
Trying to tell story in Two perspectives
Tiger Negeswara Rao Negatives:
Underwhelming Screenplay
KGF inspired narrative
Predictability
Over-stretched second half
Music & BGM
Over glorification and Hyper commercial elements
Sloopy VFX Work
Tiger Nageswara Rao Movie Bottom-line: Silly Histronics!
