Superstar Rajinikanth is showing no signs of slowing down, lining up films one after the other and outpacing many younger actors in the industry. After completing the shoot for Coolie with director Lokesh Kanagaraj, which is set to release in August, Rajinikanth is now filming Jailer 2 under Nelson Dilipkumar’s direction, a sequel to his massive hit Jailer.
Now, buzz from Kollywood has it that Rajinikanth is gearing up to team up with well-known Tamil director H. Vinoth for an exciting new project. Vinoth, who’s currently working with actor Vijay on Jananaayakan and has made a mark with films like Valimai, Thunivu, and the Pink remake with Ajith, is said to have met Rajinikanth twice for detailed discussions. The talks seem to have gone well, and fans can expect an official announcement soon.
The film is likely to begin once both Superstar Rajinikanth and Vinoth finish their ongoing projects. If it goes ahead, this will be their first film together, and fans are already buzzing with excitement about what this powerful combination could bring to the screen.
Meanwhile, director Vivek Athreya, who gave the recent blockbuster Siripodhaa Saturday, is also reportedly in talks with Rajinikanth for a possible film.
