Superstar Rajinikanth is one of the few stars of Indian Cinema whose aura never diminishes. He has been able entertain audiences of several age groups from 1978. Superstar Rajinikanth is now coming up with Jailer on 10th August. At Jailer Pre-release event, he spoke extensively about the film and the cast, crew. Superstar Rajinikanth exuded confidence on Nelson Dilipkumar and the film.
He said that many asked him to rethink about Nelson being the director after Beast release. Sun Pictures told him that they have no problem as Beast recovered costs even though reviews have been harsh and movie got divided talk. Superstar Rajinikanth stated that had he decided to not go ahead with Nelson as director, career of the director would have been spoilt. He thought about it and went ahead with him. He thanked Nelson for coming up with different comedy and a very different action movie with him. Superstar Rajinikanth expressed confidence on the material as he could sense a blockbuster being made with him during the shoot.
He also stated that he loved acting with Mohan Lal, Shiva Rajkumar, Ramyakrishnan, Jackie Shroff in the film. Superstar Rajinikanth praised Anirudh Ravichander for the audio. He stated he did not expect a song like Hukum and loved it. Nelson thanked Rajinikanth for showing confidence in him when he doubted if he would. He also thanked Thalapathy Vijay for pushing him to do a film with Rajini.
Rajinikanth asked people to reduce alcoholism and take him has an example for controlling the habit. He told to world that his brother asked him to leave it. Rajinkanth stated that had he been able to leave it long time ago, he would’ve been evcen bigger actor and star. Well, if he feels so, why can’t we? Jailer is opening on 10th August, worldwide.
