Rising actor KJR has launched his second film along with Court: State vs A Nobody fame Sridevi, after making his debut in the bilingual sports courtroom drama Gurtimpu. A formal pooja ceremony took place on Monday morning in Chennai to mark the beginning of the project.
This new film is being produced by Mini Studio as its 15th production, following the success of Mark Antony. In Telugu, the film will be presented by Ganga Entertainments.
The movie introduces Regan Stanislaus as the director. He previously worked as an assistant to well-known filmmaker Prashanth Pandiyarajan. Filming is expected to begin shortly.
The female lead will be played by Kakinada Sridevi, who rose to fame with her powerful performance in the 2025 Telugu legal drama Court: State vs a Nobody. That film, directed by Ram Jagadeesh and produced by actor Nani, starred Priyadarshi Pulikonda and Harsha Roshan. Sridevi impressed audiences by balancing her acting with her studies, as she was in her second year of college at the time.
The new film features a strong ensemble cast including Arjun Ashokan, Singampuli, Jayaprakash, Harish Kumar, Prudhvi Raj, Indumathi, Ashwini K. Kumar, Abhishek Joseph George, Aju Varghese, and Srikant Murali.
The music will be composed by Ghibran, and cinematography will be handled by P.V. Shankar. The film is produced by S. Vinod Kumar.
With Sridevi returning after her success in Court and KJR looking to build on his debut, expectations are high. The film is already generating buzz in both Telugu and Tamil cinema circles for its fresh pairing and promising crew.
