Megastar Chiranjeevi and Malayalam Superstar, known as Laletta by fans, Mohan Lal have mutual admiration and respect towards each other. Chiranjeevi decided to remake Lucifer, only after admiring the kind of star power and screen presence that Mohan Lal brought to the main lead character. Chiranjeevi, once himself, shared this in his interview.
Chiranjeevi is bringing Lucifer as Godfather and movie is releasing all over the world on 5th October. Speaking at the special press meet prior to the release, Chiranjeevi said that he liked the movie but felt that it won’t satisfy his image and fans. Hence, he changed the screenplay and few characters to suit him.
But few media reports suggested that Chiranjeevi expressed his dissatisfaction regarding Lucifer and changed it to make it even better. Megastar Chiranjeevi did not mean it that way and a misunderstanding gave raise to Mohan Lal and Malayalam cinema fans trolling and abusing Chiranjeevi and Mega Fans. Few TFI fans also trended “we apologise to Mohan Lal fans” on social media.
Well, Mega fans clarified that Megastar Chiranjeevi did not disrespect Lucifer or Mohan Lal in any way. Nayanthara, Satya Dev and some special surprises are in the film, Godfather and it is set to open huge on 5th October, Worldwide. It is directed by Mohanraja, Thani Oruvan fame.
