But the film did not become a hit in Telugu or Tamil. He is coming up with Maaveeran. Sivakarthikeyan has started his Alien film, Ayalaan, 3-4 years ago.
Now, Ayalaan is scheduled for Diwali release. The first single from the film, music composed by AR Rahman, released 2 years ago. Due to delays in VFX work due to pandemic, the film took long time to release. Sivakarthikeyan stated that this movie is different and something special for him. He has been waiting for people to watch it from long time. Finally, this Diwali, Sivakarthikeyan can show this film to everyone.
KJR Studios is producing the film. Rakul Preet Singh is acting as leading lady in the film. R. Ravikumar who made Indru Netru Naalai film in 2015, decided to make this as his next. Even that film is a sci-fi film about time travel. He impressed Sivakarthikeyan with this Alien based film. Koi Mil Gaya became a huge success in this genre. Sivakarthikeyan film will definitely have great entertainment and comedy with some serious elements. Ravikumar also made Indru Netru Naalai in an entertaining way. With huge budget this film hopes to make a mark in Tamil and other languages too.
