Silambarasan has taken action route with Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu and he is sticking to it with his next, Pathu Thala. The movie is being produced by Jayantilal Gada and K. E. Gnanavel Raja. Obeli N. Krishna wrote screenplay and is directing the film. Silambarasan, Gautham Karthik, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Priya Bhavani Shankar are playing lead roles. AR Rahman scored music for the film. Silambarasan is looking very dynamic in the AGR character.
Like in Jai Lava Kusa, where NTR played Ravan Maharaj character, Silambarasan is also play a version of Ravanan. People hate him, he loves to rule the land mercilessly and he enjoys being cruel. Silambarasan never played such a character and the teaser showcases him at ease. AR Rahman music is the major highlight of the teaser. The legend understands what suits a situation and he delivered.

Not much has been revealed in the teaser but the production design. It looks grand and fabulous. Silambarasan and Gautham Vasudev Menon seem to be going head-to-head in the film. Also, Priya Bhavani Shankar character also seems to be a government officer going against ruthless AGR. Gautham Karthik character has not been revealed. Silambarasan has given voice over and he is hungry for success for sure. He seems to have enjoyed working for this film. Pathu Thala will release on 30th March, in screens worldwide.
