Sitara Entertainments, known for backing strong content in Tollywood, has announced a new project with actor Siddu Jonnalagadda, titled ‘Badass,’ the film’s bold title and first-look poster have already created a buzz online.
The striking poster shows Siddu lighting a cigarette while surrounded by media cameras. It carries the cheeky caption “If the middle finger was a man”, which quickly caught attention across social media. His confident pose and attitude-packed appearance hint at an intense, stylish character. Fans and film circles believe this isn’t a regular story but one with a strong and edgy subject.
‘Badass’ is being directed by Ravikanth Perepu, who earlier gave Siddu a major hit with Krishna and His Leela. Their reunion has raised expectations. This time, the story is said to be even more energetic and high voltage. Interestingly, the script was co-written by Siddu and Ravikanth, with the team promising something new not just in story but also in its presentation.
The film is being produced on a large scale by Sitara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with Srikara Studios presenting it. The release is planned for 2026.
Siddu Jonnalagadda previously impressed with DJ Tillu and Tillu Square, though Jack didn’t meet expectations. Now, with Badass, he hopes to bounce back and show his mark once again. As his third film after the Tillu franchise, fans are excited to see him in a massy, stylish avatar.
With the strong first impression made by the title, look, and concept, the makers are expected to build steady hype as more updates roll out.
