Siddharth has become one of the most successful stars in Telugu Cinema in 2000’s. He had successful cinemas like Nuvvosthante Nenoddantana, Bommarillu and few others. Siddharth then lost his market due to several failures. He returned to Tamil Cinema and has been working there, as Telugu producers have been vary about producing films with him. Now, Siddharth revealed that even distributors did not come forward to buy his new film, Chithha Telugu version Chinna, in Telugu states.
He got emotional while speaking about the film release. He planned for the film to release on 28th September in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam at the same time. Siddharth got a rude shock as Telugu distributors denied to buy rights of his film. They wondered if anyone would watch his films in Telugu states. While stating this, Siddharth got emotional and stopped his tears. After stating that he claimed that if Chinna won’t be liked by audiences, he would never come to Telugu states with his films, anymore.

He looked in his elements at the press meet and Q & A session. He cracked jokes and had a light-hearted conversation with everyone. Chithha has gained positive word of mouth and critical acclaim in Tamil Nadu. Also, Malayalam and Kannada versions have picked up over the long October 2nd weekend. Siddharth expected the same in Telugu and he always identified himself as a Telugu person, too. Hence, he seem to have taken those words more personally. Asian Suniel is releasing the movie in Telugu, on 6th October.
Well, Siddharth is a notable actor and everyone goes through failures and market ups and downs. Hope, Chinna will be loved by Telugu audiences, if the movie is as good as it is touted to be.
