Shankar has been one of the most celebrated filmmakers of Indian Cinema. He debuted in 1993 with Gentleman and has been one of the pioneers of advancing technology in Indian Cinema, ever since. Shankar took his vigilante justice formula to heights with Indian film. Kamal Haasan as an old man, who is a freedom fighter and his son, the main villain, made a huge impact. Now, Shankar has decided to come with Indian 2, sequel for the film.
But the movie got delayed due to a freak accident on sets. Kamal Haasan and Shankar had issues with producers Lyca Prodcutions at the time. The director announced his next with Ram Charan and started filming. Lyca Productions has moved to court asking Shankar to complete Indian 2 and move on to other films. They sorted it out with Udayanidhi Stalin coming into the picture after Vikram success. Shankar has decided to shoot both Indian 2 and Game Changer simultaneously, for the first time in his career.
He has been giving updates regularly, about the film shoots on his Twitter handle. Shankar thanked Kamal Haasan for a latest power pacled schedule of Indian 2. After concluding it, he announced that he is moving on to Game Changer with Ram Charan for climax. He stated that he will shoot with Kamal Haasan again for Indian 2 in May. Shankar seems to be excited about shooting both huge high octane films at the same time in his career. And we are too!
