Shah Rukh Khan is on a roll this year. He has delivered big flops like Zero, Jab Harry Met Sejal 6 years ago. Now, in 2023, he has delivered Pathaan and Jawan kind of big blockbusters. Both JHMS and Zero have been biggest disasters for Shah Rukh Khan. They both did not collect Rs.100 crores in India and Overseas have been low, too. Hence, Shah Rukh Khan has decided to take break of two years, before announcing his next.
Due to corona pandemic, the films took even more time to finish. Shah Rukh Khan announced three films in one year. He announced Pathaan release in January, Jawan in June and Dunki in December. Jawan got postponed to September and released on 7th September. Pathaan and Jawan became huge blockbusters. Jawan is breaking Pathaan records as well. Jawan has crossed 400 crores India nett, all languages and in Hindi as well, it is expected to reach the milestone soon. Shah Rukh Khan thanked media and fans, public for showering so much love on Jawan.
Movie has crossed Rs.735 crores gross Worldwide and it is expected cross Pathaan collections of Rs.1050 crores gross, in long run. Jawan has been quicker than Pathaan in crossing milestones like 200, 300, 350 and experts predict, 400 too. Shah Rukh Khan invited all the cast and crew for a celebratory press interaction on 15th September. He thanked everyone wholeheartedly and confirmed Dunki release for Christmas, 2023. Now, Shah Rukh Khan has also accepted Pathaan vs Tiger, YRF Spy Universe film, say reports.
Apparently, Aditya Chopra, scion of Yash Raj Films, met with both the actors – Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan for narration. After he finished his narration, both of them agreed to do the film, Pathaan vs Tiger in unison. Not to trigger any ego issues, Aditya has given both of them narration at the same time and at his office, say reports. Movie is expected to go on floors from March, 2024.
Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in an extended cameo in Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, for Diwali. In the movie, lead for their clash as Tiger and Pathaan will be sown, say reports. Salman Khan’s cameo as Tiger added to the appeal of Pathaan and Shah Rukh Khan cameo is expected to do the same, if not more to Tiger 3.
