Shah Rukh Khan took a break of 4 years as his last release, Zero came out in 2018. The actor is coming up with Pathaan, which is scheduled for release on 25th January, 2023. Yash Raj Films is producing the film and Siddharth Anand is directing it. Adithya Chopra wants to launch a spy universe with the film using Salman Khan’s Tiger and War’s Hrithik Roshan characters along with Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan, say reports. Salman Khan has confirmed his cameo in Pathaan and Shah Rukh Khan will appear in Tiger 3. Hrithik Roshan’s cameo is not confirmed.
The actor talking about Pathaan shared that he wanted to be “Action Fit” before doing his next film after Zero. Shah Rukh Khan stated that he was suffering with major injuries and had gone through operations too. Hence, when Aditya Chopra and Siddharth Anand approached him for Pathaan, he told them that his body is weak and he will be “Action Fit” like Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan for the film. He said that he worked hard to pull off major action stunts too.
Pathaan team released Besharam Rang song recently and the song became a viral hit but it became controversial too. Several BJP and Hindu leaders have been threatening Shah Rukh Khan to not release the movie or cut the song from the film. The film team is getting ready to release Jhoome Re Pathaan on 22nd December. Recently, Shah Rukh Khan became the only Indian Actor to be named in 50 All-Time Great actors.
