Salaar has been the most awaited movie from Prabhas and Prashanth Neel combination. Ever since, KGF Chapter 2 success, people have been eager to watch this combination rock the screen. But the team had to delay the release of Salaar from 28th September. They have deferred the date, due to delay in CGI and VFX shots to the standards, they wish to meet. Now, Prabhas fans are eager to know the new release date. But Salaar team is in no rush to announce the new date.
It is understood that the team is looking at this as a huge setback. But Prashanth Neel and Hombale Films, doesn’t want to compromise on the quality. Entire Nation would be looking at Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire and they want to deliver the best. After a long deliberation, they gave an update about postponement on 13th September. Salaar team thanked audiences for their unwavering support. They also asked them to understand the circumstances and co-operate with them. Salaar release date might take some more time to be announced.
Salaar team in their press note, stated the following. They said, “We deeply appreciate your unwavering support for Salaar. With consideration, we must delay the original September 28 release due to unforeseen circumstances. Please understand this decision is made with care, as we’re committed to delivering an exceptional cinematic experience. Our team is working tirelessly to meet the highest standards. The new release date will be revealed in due course. Stay with us as we make the final touches on Salaar CeaseFire and thank you for being a part of this incredible journey.”
Prabhas, Sruthi Haasan, Pruthviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu are playing leading roles in Salaar. KGF series team have re-assembled to create this action magnum opus. Prashanth Neel and Ravi Basrur are expected to create similar sensation with music, sound, content and background score like KGF. Salaar will release in two parts and Cease Fire has been expected for 28th September. Now, the release is speculated to happen around Diwali or Christmas or Sankranthi. But Salaar team is not in hurry and they might even go for Republic Day date or Summer, if required. For now, team wants to check the output and then only would commit to a date.
