Salaar team has made it clear that Salaar: Part-1 Ceasefire will not release on 28th September, 2023. Prabhas, Shruthi Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer has been in production from 2021. Prashanth Neel after KGF Chapter-2 has decided to make another action epic with Prabhas as Salaar. Hombale Films who produced KGF with him, are producing Salaar. This film will also release in two parts. Salaar first part teaser has been released and it became viral, too.
Makers have announced full fledged promotions to start from last week of August. But Salaar team did not announce any kind of trailer or new content release date. Despite fans of Prabhas pleading and requesting and trending on social media, Hombale films did not announce anything. Reports have stated that Salaar Part-1 has been postponed. Now, fans are requesting Hombale Films to announce the release date. Reports have suggested that they will announce the new date on 4th September.
But the reliable sources are suggesting that the team is still holding talks with exhibitors and distributors. They are looking for a date where they do not have to clash with any other film. Salaar film had to be postponed because of the delay in VFX work. Reportedly, Prashanth Neel did not like the CG work of a VFX studio regarding three fictional cities. As the work is going on, now, reports are suggesting that Salaar will be released in November. Makers want to avoid clash with Tiger 3 starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif during Diwali.
