Salaar team has taken ages to confirm their new release date. There have been reports that the team and director Prashanth Neel are unhappy with VFX work. Also, Salaar team has gone for some climax re-shoots as well. Prashanth Neel, after looking at the edit and final VFX progress pipeline, confirmed the release plans, say reports. Now, team has announced that Salaar Ceasefire: Part-1 will release on 22nd December.
The team has arrived on this release date one week ago. They have informed about the same to AA Films and International distributors. Hombale Films wanted to consult every expert to decide upon the new release date. Finally, Salaar team thought long holiday time – Christmas and New Year, would be perfect for their film. As KGF Chapter-1 also made a mark on such time, they want Salaar Ceasefire Part-1 also to make similar mark. Salaar team expressed huge confidence on their film and shared a new poster.
Prabhas, Shruthi Haasan, Privithiraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu have been cast in important roles in the film. Salaar will be facing opposition from Hi Nanna, Saindhav in Telugu markets, if they don’t postpone. Shah Rukh Khan, who is in top form, as also confirmed Dunki for 22nd December release, already. Rajkumar Hirani is first time directing Shah Rukh Khan and expectations are huge from the film. Salaar Ceasefire: Part-1 team would be hoping to end disaster streak for Prabhas, this Christmas.
