RaviTeja Opens Up About His Early Struggles and Upcoming RaviTeja has shared personal stories about his early struggles in the film industry while promoting his upcoming film. Known as “Mass Maharaja” among his fans, Ravi Teja revealed how he faced many rejections before achieving stardom.

Speaking during a recent promotional event, the actor said he first entered the industry to become an actor. However, he faced repeated rejections, and roles often went to people with recommendations rather than talent. “Because of this, I stopped trying as an actor and started working as an assistant director,” he said.

He recalled an important turning point with director Krishna Vamsi. Ravi Teja was working as an assistant director on the film *Ninne Pelladata* when Krishna Vamsi promised him a lead role in *Sindhooram*. But at that time, due to his past setbacks, Ravi didn’t believe it. “He asked me to play a role in *Ninne Pelladata*. I refused. Then he warned me — either I act in that film or I’d lose *Sindhooram*. That moment changed everything,” Ravi Teja shared. Eventually, Krishna Vamsi kept his word, and that opportunity launched Ravi Teja’s acting career.

Meanwhile, the actor is currently busy with multiple projects. His next film, tentatively titled #RT 76, is directed by Kishore Tirumala and produced by SLV Cinemas. It is expected to be a full family entertainer with comedy, action and emotion. The makers are considering the title “Bharata Mahashayulaku Vignapthi” for the film, which is set for a Sankranti release.

Ravi Teja’s other major release, Mass Jathara, directed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu and starring Sreeleela as the female lead, is scheduled to hit theatres on 31 October. With the release date approaching, the team has intensified promotions.

Ravi Teja, who built his career without any film background, is considered one of Tollywood’s most hardworking stars. His journey from assistant director to leading hero continues to inspire many aspiring actors.
