Bollywood star Raveena Tandon is all set to make her return to Telugu cinema with Suriya’s upcoming bilingual project, Suriya 46. Directed by Venky Atluri, the film was officially launched recently in Hyderabad with a traditional ceremony, marking the beginning of what promises to be one of 2026’s most anticipated releases.
Raveena joined the cast on her birthday, and the news quickly created a buzz among fans and film circles. Her inclusion in the project marks a special comeback to Telugu films after several years. The actress, known for her strong screen presence and versatile performances, is expected to play a key role in the story. While her character details have been kept secret, sources suggest that she will appear in a powerful, emotionally layered role that adds depth to the narrative.
Suriya 46 is being produced by Sithara Entertainments and is planned as a Tamil–Telugu bilingual, ensuring a wide release across South India. Suriya, who continues to balance commercial success with meaningful roles, leads the film alongside young Malayalam actress Mamitha Baiju, who will play the female lead. Veteran actress Radhika Sarathkumar also joins the cast in a significant part, adding more strength to the ensemble.
Music for the film will be composed by GV Prakash Kumar, reuniting him with Suriya after their previous collaborations. The film’s story reportedly mixes action, drama, and emotion, with Venky Atluri promising a fresh take that blends his storytelling style with Suriya’s screen power.
Though the official title is yet to be revealed, Suriya 46 is expected to release in the summer of 2026. The announcement of Raveena’s return has added extra excitement to the project, with fans eager to see her chemistry with Suriya and how her character shapes the plot.
