Rana Daggubati has a dream project in Hiranyakashyapa. He announced the movie in the direction of Guna Sekhar. But after few years of pre-production works, the film has been shelved. Now, Rana Daggubati has gone to San Diego, USA for Comic Con 2023. There he announced several projects. One of them is Hiranyakashyapa.
Some of Rana Daggubati owned Spirit Media’s upcoming projects include Hiranyakashyapa. It is a film inspired by Amar Chitra Katha comics. Rana Daggubati will play the titular role, while noted director Trivikram Srinivas is writing the story. Rana Daggubati also announced Minnal Murali comics in partnership with Weekend Blockbusters. They are the producers of the Malayalam superhero film Minnal Murali. A new comic character of Minnal Murali will be unveiled in the popular Indian comic magazine Tinkle.
Rana Daggubati also announced a web-series Lords Of The Deccan. It is a historical epic action-drama series and it takes us back in time to witness the birth of the Chalukya dynasty. Spirit Media is producing the series in partnership with streaming giant SonyLIV. He did not announce if he is playing an character in the series, yet. Rana Daggubati is looking go global with Spirit Media as a producer and also as an actor.
