Puri Jagannadh has written and directed Ismart Shankar. The movie became a come back for him as a producer and director. Now, he is bringing sequel to Ismart Shankar as Double Ismart. Ram Pothineni has gone to celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim for his new style. Boyapati Srinu has given him a new look for Skanda. Puri Jagannadh has asked Ram Pothineni to go back to Ismart Shankar looks and he did effortlessly.

The movie pooja ceremony has been held on 10th July. Producers Charmee Kaur and Puri Jagannadh have announced that film regular shoot will start from 12th July. Ram Pothineni will join the schedule and the team will announce other cast members in coming days. Mani Sharma is expected to compose music again for the sequel too. Ram Pothineni is releasing Skanda for Dussehra and Double Ismart on 8th March, 2024.
