Ram Pothineni has been one of the silent followers of social media trends. He hoped for huge box office returns with Skanda after a blockbuster like Ismart Shankar. He wanted the Boyapati Srinu film to take him to next level as an action hero. But the movie did not live up to the expectations. Even though Sreeleela has been cast in the film, it ended up as box office disappointment.
Suddenly, the movie has become part of many trolls upon release. Some included, Ram Pothineni not doing an action scene himself. Rather director Boyapati himself, completed the shot. He clarified by stating that he could not walk after an injury. Hence, director, himself did the shot.
He wrote, “22.04.23 I still remember..it was one of the hottest days during the peak of summer..this was my feet after filming this episode on the 3rd day of the 25days..couldn’t walk properly..went away for a bit after it started to bleed..so My Director wanted to get the shot right n did this one shot himself.”

He continued to state that people might like the content or not but he is thankful to his director. Ram continued to say, “Liking or Disliking the content is totally the audience choice..I have & will continue to Respect Your Opinions.. after all..all this is only For You.. But I’d like to thank My Director for doing this specific shot for me. #SKANDA.”
Well, he concluded by saying that he will continue his full energy to films. Skanda is now streaming in OTT platforms from few days. Ram is now working on his next movie, Double Ismart with Puri Jagannadh. Sanjay Dutt has been cast in the movie in an important role. Movie is releasing in March, 2024.
