Global star Ram Charan is making waves with his upcoming film PEDDI, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, which promises to be much more than a traditional sports drama. The movie is being produced on a grand scale and has already generated buzz nationwide following the release of its first look.
Currently, the production team is filming a never-before-seen train action sequence on a specially built set in Hyderabad. Described as one of the most ambitious and high-risk action blocks ever attempted in Indian cinema, the stunt is being shot under the guidance of top action choreographer Nabakanth Master, known for his work in Pushpa 2. The sequence, which will wrap filming by 19 June, features Ram Charan performing intense stunts with minimal use of CGI, raising expectations among fans and action film enthusiasts.
The set for this explosive train episode has been designed by acclaimed production designer Avinash Kolla and is said to be one of the most elaborate ever created for an Indian film. The filmmakers aim to redefine action filmmaking standards in the country with this sequence.
Apart from Ram Charan, the cast includes Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma. The technical crew includes R Rathnavelu handling cinematography, AR Rahman composing the music, and Navin Nooli, a National Award-winning editor, managing the cut.
Backed by Vriddhi Cinemas, along with renowned banners Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the film is being shaped into a visual spectacle.
PEDDI is set to hit cinemas on 27 March 2026, coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday, and is expected to be one of the biggest releases of the year.
