Ram Charan’s Peddi Censor: The censor certificate for Ram Charan’s much awaited film Peddi is finally out , and it has already started stirring up talk among fans online. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the sports action drama got a U/A certificate with a fairly long runtime of 189 minutes, which comes to around 3 hours and 9 minutes.

From what reports suggest, the censor folks did a couple of smaller tweaks before approving it . A few swear words used in the film were either muted or swapped during the review process, so nothing too drastic , but still noticeable. Yet the main headline is said to be tied to a modification in the familiar “Chikiri Chikiri” track.
The line “Saruku Saman” from the chartbuster song has apparently been replaced with a fresh set of words. The makers haven’t said the updated lyric yet, so fans are now wondering what exactly has been adjusted and how it will show up in the last theatrical cut.
Janhvi Kapoor is playing the female lead, while music is composed by A. R. Rahman. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, Peddi is planned for a big screen release on June 4, 2026.
