The shooting of global star Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi is going on at a fast pace. After the mixed response to Game Changer, Ram Charan is aiming for a blockbuster with Peddi.

Director Buchi Babu is said to be leaving no stone unturned to make the film perfect. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the movie has music by legendary composer A.R. Rahman—a major highlight for fans.

The first shot from the film was released recently, and it gave a strong glimpse of the film’s grand scale.

Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead, and reports suggest Ram Charan’s role and performance will be on a whole new level. Kannada superstar Shivrajkumar is also playing a powerful character.

The team has planned to release Peddi on 28 March 2026. However, since star films—especially pan-India ones—often get delayed, there’s talk that Peddi may also shift its release to the summer holidays for better reach and to avoid a box-office clash.

Actor Nani’s film Paradise is set to release in March 2026, which could be one reason for Peddi’s release change.

Sources say the makers want a solo release to maximise the film’s impact. Many feel this is a smart move.

Ram Charan is expected to deliver a strong mass performance in Peddi. With a pan-India appeal and solid cast and crew, fans are eager to see what records the film might break.

Director Buchi Babu is said to be giving his best for the project.
