Jabardasth fame Getup Srinu has established himself as a good performer on TV. Even in films like Rangasthalam, Zombie Reddy, HanuMan and several others he gained good name. Now, he has been launched as lead actor with Raju Yadav Movie. As good concept oriented movies have been becoming huge blockbusters, makers released this one with huge anticipation. Let’s discuss about the film, in detail.
Plot:
Raju Yadav(Getup Srinu)’s father dreams about him to get a Government Job and settle in life. While the family hails from Mahabubnagar, his father wants to see him at a high position in Hyderabad. On the other hand, Raju Yadav fails in exams and hence, his father loses hopes on his career. Suddenly, he gets hit by a cricket ball and a RMP doctor fails to treat him properly. Hence, his face stays smilling all the time.
With parents losing hope on him and such a disorder, he becomes more care free than ever. At this point, he falls in love with Sweety(Ankitha Kharat) on first look. She asks him to not follow her but he doesn’t listen. His life takes a big turn because of his stubbornness to marry her. What is that turn? What will Raju Yadav go through? Analysis:
Getup Srinu proved again that he is a good performer. With a smiling face, he had to carry some difficult emotions in serious situations. And he showcased how brilliantly he can do that. Makers have put huge faith in him and with his commitment, dedication he pulled off. Same cannot be stated about Ankitha Kharat. She could not really carry off the complicated role on screen. Among others, Ananda Chakrapani has been able to deliver a good performance.
The screenplay and scenes by Raju Yadav makers did not really go beyond common cliches. With a novel hero character, they tried to repeat the director Maruthi formula. But none of the scenes had similar innovativeness or comic sense that Maruthi films bring to the table. While many other filmmakers have also been looking out for such “novel” lead characters, Maruthi has been most successful. Hence, the comparison.
Makers should have been able to understand the difference between just having an innovative character and delivering on the premise. Each scene just seems like being taken from another film. And screenplay is so routine that movie becomes unbearable to watch after a point. On the whole, Raju Yadav Movie is a dysfunctional comedy drama.
