Rajamouli is known for presenting his heros like demi-gods. He has a tendency to draw parallels to epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata characters for his heroes and villains. Rajamouli revealed that he designed Ramaraju character from RRR based on Ram and Komaram Bheem character based on Bheem. Even Baahubali had characters inspired from Ramayana and Mahabharata. Now, Rajamouli is said to be designing Mahesh character as modern day Hanuman in his next.
He announced that the film will be a globe trottling adventure. The shoot of the film will happen in African forests or in Amazon forests. Mahesh characters will have traits close to Hanuman say reports. Rajamouli has asked his team of writers headed by father Vijayendra Prasad to complete script by end of the year. He has plans to start shooting from January of 2024 and hit theatres by end of the year, 2025 or January, 2026. Rajamouli has been in talks with Hollywood studios to distribute this film.
Post RRR, Oscar win and Golden Globe win, Hollywood studios want to associate with his films. Disney and Sony Pictures are in talks with Rajamouli for global distribution, say reports. Mahesh Babu is currently on a vacation trip with his family. After returning, he will join Trivikram Srinivas film. The movie is scheduled to hit theatres for Sankranthi, 2024. The shoot will finish by October or November, say reports. Rajamouli by that time will complete script and pre-production works for his film with Mahesh. More details are yet to be revealed.
