Telugu cinema fans have every reason to celebrate as filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli and superstar Mahesh Babu gear up for a historic reveal. Their much-awaited collaboration, SSMB29, will finally be introduced to the world through a grand launch titled ‘Globetrotter’, scheduled to take place on 15 November at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.

The Globetrotter Event isn’t just another press meet, it’s being described as a cinematic spectacle that will match the film’s global scale. The occasion will also be streamed live on Jio Hotstar, allowing fans across the world to join in on what promises to be one of the most anticipated unveilings in Indian cinema.

Earlier this year, Rajamouli teased audiences with a mysterious poster on Mahesh Babu’s 50th birthday. The image showed Mahesh wearing a rudraksha mala with divine symbols like the trident and Nandi, without revealing his face. This sparked widespread speculation that SSMB29 will be a mythology-inspired action-adventure, a theme that Rajamouli has masterfully explored in the past.

Although the story details remain closely guarded, reports suggest the film will be a globe-trotting adventure set across various international locations. The film aims to showcase Mahesh Babu in a never-before-seen avatar, blending intense action with Rajamouli’s trademark emotional depth.

Buzz also surrounds the casting, with Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran rumoured to play significant roles. To maintain secrecy, the production team has reportedly implemented strict measures on set following minor leaks earlier this year.

With Baahubali and RRR, Rajamouli proved his ability to take Indian cinema to a global stage. Now, teaming up with Mahesh Babu, he is expected to push boundaries once again.

All eyes are now on Ramoji Film City as the Globetrotter Event approaches. Whether it unveils the title, first look, or trailer, one thing is certain, SSMB29 is set to mark another milestone in Indian filmmaking.
