Psych Siddhartha trailer

The trailer for Psych Siddhartha has dropped, and it doesn’t shy away from chaos. The film’ led by veteran actor-turned-producer Shree Nandu (previously known simply as Nandu) makes no bones about its rough, raw essence. The story follows Siddharth Reddy, a dreamer whose ambitions in business crumble after a heart-breaking betrayal by his girlfriend. What follows is not just despair, but an unravelling: upheaval, emotional breakdowns and a descent into a gritty, unpredictable life.

What stands out is how unfiltered and real the Psych Siddhartha trailer feels. Siddharth’s life unravels with heavy doses of dark humour and intense frustration’ from filthy-mouthed rants to pathetic poverty in a cramped slum apartment. But even in this mess, there’s a strange energy: Siddharth’s anger, pain and desperation are juxtaposed with absurd comedy, making the film’s tone unpredictable and edgy. The supporting cast’ including Yamini Bhaskar, Priyanka Rebekah Srinivas and Sakshi Atree’ peek through the trailer with glimpses of uneasy hopes and shifting allegiances.

What makes Psych Siddhartha deeply personal is Nandu’s investment’ literally and emotionally. This is his debut as a producer, born out of a desire to stay true to the film’s original vision. He reportedly slashed 18 kg off his frame for the titular role, determined to embody Siddharth’s disillusionment and desperation. The film is directed by newcomer Varun Reddy, and is backed by an ensemble of fresh technical talent aiming to deliver stark realism.

With its release date fixed at 12 December 2025, the trailer has already sparked curiosity. It feels like Nandu is offering audiences more than just entertainment’ he’s staking his credibility on a story about dreams, betrayal and survival. If nothing else, Psych Siddhartha is a bold experiment in how far one man will go to prove himself.
