PS-2 is one of the most awaited films in Tamil Cinema. Mani Ratnam got his wish fulfilled by making Ponniyin Selvan novel as a movie. He wanted to direct a movie based on the novel in 1980’s and he finally made it in 2020’s. PS-2 is the second part of Ponniyin Selvan and is releasing after PS-1, on a huge scale. The movie PS-1 became a huge blockbuster for Tamil Cinema. PS-2 is expected to become even bigger hit.
PS-1 collected more than Rs.475 crores worlwide. PS-2 is releasing on 28th April, 2023, all-over the world. Aga Naga, melody song from PS-2 has been released recently. The song became a viral hit in Tamil language and it is set to cross 8 Million views. AR Rahman composed music for the film like every Mani Ratnam film. Karthi, Trisha Krishnan, Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Shobita Dhulipala, Aiswarya Lekshmi are part of this ensemble cast of the film.
PS-2 team has started promotions and trailer will be released on 29th March, 2023. Majestic Cholas are going to take over the cinemas again. The poster indicates this time Chiyaan Vikram as Aditha Karikalan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Nandini will have more to deliver. We are eagerly waiting for PS-2, aren’t you, too?
