PS-2 Trailer has been released by the makers – Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies on 29th March. Mani Ratnam has decided to keep the trailer as long and as interesting as possible. Ponniyin Selvan readers will find the trailer even more interesting. PS-2 seems to be grand than PS-1. With a lot of emotional sequences being teased, the trailer looks intense. Action shots in PS-2 give a swashbuckling experience too.
The trailer cut gives PS-1 fans an intro into what they can expect from PS-2. Also, the visual quality, VFX quality and even sound mixing seems to have improved from the first part. Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan aka Simbu have attended the audio launch and trailer release event as chief guests. Mani Ratnam, AR Rahman, Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Shobita Dhulipala, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha Krishnan have also attended the event. PS-2 will be even more dramatic with highs at the right time, promised Mani Ratnam.
As PS-1 became an Industry Hit in Tamil Nadu, fans are expecting no less from this. Already, PS-2 trailer has crossed 4.5 Million views on YouTube. This shows the amount of anticipation for this ensemble film. While PS-1 trailer had more shots of Karthi, PS-2 gave more weightage to Chiyaan Vikram. Movie seems to be promising and AR Rahman BGM for the trailer and songs have been great too. Expecting another great outing from and for the team.
