Priyanka Chopra Jonas has opened up about an unusual on-set injury she experienced while filming her new movie Heads of State. During a chat with American TV host Jimmy Fallon, the actress shared that she lost part of her eyebrow while performing a stunt for the action-comedy.

In the film, Priyanka Chopra Jonas has opened up about an unusual on-set injury she experienced while filming her new movie Heads of State. plays Noel Bisset, an MI6 agent caught in a high-stakes global crisis involving the President of the United States and the British Prime Minister. While filming a scene in the rain, she had to roll on the floor as the camera moved in close. However, things didn’t go exactly as planned.

Explaining the incident, she said, “The camera has a matte box. I was supposed to roll and fall on the floor, and it was raining. The camera operator came in a little too close and so did I and it took out a chunk of my eyebrow. It could have been my eye, so I’m grateful it wasn’t.”

Rather than stop filming, Priyanka applied surgical glue to the wound and finished the day’s shoot. “I didn’t want to come back and shoot in the rain again,” she added.

Heads of State is directed by Ilya Naishuller and stars Idris Elba, John Cena, and Priyanka in the lead roles. The film also features Paddy Considine, Stephen Root, Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, and Sarah Niles.

The action-packed comedy promises stunts, humour and plenty of surprises. It will premiere on Prime Video on 2nd July, and will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
