‘Oo Manchi Ghost’ (OMG) is an upcoming comedy horror directed by Shankar Marthand. Ace music composer Anup Rubens, who gave some memorable, musical blockbusters on Telugu silver screen, is composing the music for the songs in the film. Dr. Abinika Inabathuni is bankrolling the movie under the banner Mark Set Productions.
Comedian Vennela Kishore, Shakalaka Shankar, actress Nandita Shweta, and Navami Gayak along with Rajit, Naveen Neni and Raghu among others are playing key roles in the film.
Second song from this film, titled ‘Papa Nuvvu Thopu’, was formally released by the makers in a grand manner at Ramanaidu Studio in the presence of the media.
‘OMG’ team bagged the honor of unveiling the song with media representatives. The song drawn from folklore with good mass beats has been brilliantly composed by music director Anub Rubens giving a cinematic touch to it.
The lyrics for the song written penned by young writer Simhachalam while singer Bala Sooranna, who shot to fame with the song ‘Sittara Sirapadu’ from ‘Alavaikuntapuram Lo’, gave his vocals. Comedian-actor Shakalaka Shankar too sang a few lines.
Speaking on the occasion, lyric writer Simhachalam thanked music director Anup Rubens for giving him the opportunity to write a good song for the movie.
Singer Bala Sooranna said, “Even though I had no formal education, I can sing any song with ease if music director like Anup Rubens stands by my side. I wish to sing more songs under him in future, I thank him for the opportunity.”
Inabathuni Radhakrishna, the father of producer Dr. Abinika Inabathuni, hailed Anup Rubens for his artistry while composing the magical notes. “He can turn anything into a diamond with his talent and craft in the field of music. Every song that he composed in ‘OMG’ is a musical hit. He said that the movie has come out amazingly well and it will definitely achieve success at the box office,” he said adding that everyone who acted in this film played their characters so perfectly.
Recalling his association with Anup Rubens from the webseries of ‘Expiry Date’, director Marthand Shankar said, “And it is a pleasure to work with him again in this film OMG. And the makers of the film have supported a lot. With such strong support and backup from producers, any director can create miracles with content on the screen.
