After years of delays and changing dates, fans of Pawan Kalyan finally have a reason to celebrate. His long-awaited historical action film Hari Hara Veera Mallu starring Pawan (HHVM) is now officially scheduled to release on 24 July, as announced by the film’s makers on Saturday morning.
The new poster revealed features Pawan Kalyan in the role of a fierce rebel warrior, while Bollywood actor Bobby Deol plays the powerful Mughal ruler Aurangzeb. The tagline reads: “One fights for Power. One fights for Dharma.”

The film blends action with themes of truth, belief, and freedom. It’s also seen as a significant move for Pawan Kalyan, as it strengthens his image as a protector of Hindu values are something that could help boost his political influence, especially among supporters of Sanatana Dharma.

With no big Bollywood films releasing around the same time, Hari Hara Veera Mallu may do well even in northern India, beyond its Telugu-speaking fan base.

However, questions remain. With only a few weeks left and major promotional events yet to begin, some fans and industry watchers doubt whether the film will actually make it to cinemas on time.

To add to the tension, HHVM’s release may clash with Vijay Deverakonda’s film Kingdom, which had already been pushed from May to a tentative 25 July release. With both big films eyeing the same weekend, the next couple of weeks will be crucial in confirming whether both will go head-to-head or if one will blink first.

Fans now eagerly await further updates, as Tollywood gears up for one of its most competitive box office weekends this year. With Hari Hara Veera Mallu Pawan is returning to screen after a long hiatus as he holds the deputy CM position in Andhra Pradesh.
