Actor and politician Pawan Kalyan faced an unexpected twist at the much-awaited OG event today. Fans had waited years for this moment, but heavy rain forced organisers to close the event within just half an hour. Despite the disruption, Pawan Kalyan’s speech left the audience thrilled.
Making a rare public appearance, Pawan impressed fans with his style and words. He spoke about his journey and the film’s development, revealing some interesting behind-the-scenes details. He said that director Sujeeth approached him after being introduced by Trivikram following the film Sahoo. “He told me there is a good story, and I would like it,” Pawan recalled.
The actor explained that working on this film made him forget his political role as Deputy Chief Minister. “Otherwise, would anyone expect a Deputy CM to come holding a sword? But that’s what happens in this movie,” he joked. Pawan also shared how he practised the sword scenes with excitement, and how the story has been built around them.
Fans were also treated to hints about the film’s action and romance. Pawan praised co-star Imran Hashmi for his acting and said acting alongside him was a wonderful experience. He mentioned that Priyanka Mohan plays the romantic interest, adding a fresh love story to the film.
Pawan acknowledged the continued support of his fans. “Even when I entered politics, you never left me. That’s why I keep fighting,” he said. He also reflected on his film career, saying that if he had such a strong team earlier, he might not have considered politics at all. He even revealed learning Japanese from director Sujeeth while preparing for the movie.
When asked about the trailer at the OG event, Pawan admitted that it has not been released yet, and the team is still finalising it. Despite the rain, fans left excited and satisfied with glimpses of the film and the actor’s rare public address.
