Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s much-awaited film Hari Hara Veera Mallu is all set to release on 24 July. After the trailer was released, some viewers speculated that the film is based on the life of a real historical warrior from Telangana.
However, the filmmakers have now clarified that the story is completely fictional. They stated that the film does not follow the life of any real person but instead tells the journey of a brave warrior who rises to protect Sanatana Dharma (ancient values and traditions).
The film was originally directed by Krish but was later taken over by director Jyothi Krishna. According to sources, the story underwent major changes after Jyothi Krishna joined. While the spirit of the original concept was retained, the team crafted a fresh storyline.
The film presents the hero as a divine figure, combining traits of both Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu—similar to how Lord Ayyappa is seen as a bridge between Shaivism and Vaishnavism. Symbolic elements such as a falcon (like Vishnu’s vehicle Garuda) and Shiva’s damarukam drum are used to enhance the character’s presence.
Produced by A.M. Rathnam with a massive budget, the film gained more attention after the trailer release. Reports suggest that the film has done impressive business, though overseas and Hindi rights have not been sold yet.
Nidhhi Agerwal stars as the female lead, and music is composed by M.M. Keeravani. Hari Hara Veera Mallu marks Pawan Kalyan’s first pan-India film. With rising excitement, fans are eagerly waiting for what could be his next blockbuster.
