Actor and AP deputy CM Pawan Kalyan is currently juggling his duties as Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister while also promoting his upcoming film Hari Hara Veera Mallu. On Tuesday, he spoke to the media at the Jana Sena Party office in Mangalagiri, showing strong emotion and energy.

Andhra Pradesh deputy CM Pawan Kalyan said the previous government tried to damage both his political career and film projects. He claimed that the producers of his films faced heavy losses because of conspiracies against him.

Speaking about Veera Mallu, he said the film is very special and has faced many struggles before reaching the screen. “We overcame natural disasters, human challenges, and political pressures,” he explained. “The producers stood strong, and I felt it was my duty to support them during promotions.”

When asked about the difficulties faced during filming, he said there were many political hurdles. “In Visakhapatnam, I was not allowed to leave my hotel, and ticket prices for my films were unfairly reduced to ₹10 or ₹15 by the past rulers,” he said. “Because of their actions, producers working with me suffered financially.”

He also criticised the previous government for targeting his projects. “In Rayalaseema, they hurt people’s financial roots by cutting down their support. Many tried to stop me, but I stood strong, and now the film is ready for release,” Pawan added.

Pawan also spoke about the recent increase in ticket prices. He said the hike was not just for his film but for all films in general. “The government considered the hard work of producers and gave approval for the increase,” he said.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu is set to release in cinemas this Thursday.
