Movie released on 25th January, 2023 and it collected record-breaking Rs.543 crores, Worldwide. Pathaan collected Rs.270 crores Nett.gross from Indian market and US$ 25.5 Million from Overseas markets. Total Gross is said to be Rs.543 crores in just 5 days of release. Pathaan is on the path to break Baahubali 2 Hindi Nett. gross record to become highest grossing Indian movie in India in single language, ever.
Dangal has the upper hand with Rs.1950- 2100 crores gross, Worldwide for the Highest Grossing Indian movie ever. Baahubali 2 has collected Rs.1750 – 1810 crores Gross and KGF Chapter 2, RRR follow the list with above 1000 -1100 crores gross, each. Pathaan has already collected Rs.543 crores gross and it is set to breach Dangal single language record in India to become highest grossing Hindi film, in India, ever. Shah Rukh Khan with Pathaan proved his Overseas market pull like never before and ended all the debate about his global Megastardom as many thought he is a fading star post Fan, Jab Harry Met Sejal and Zero debacles.
Pathaan team has organised a “Thank You and Success Press Meet” at YRF Studios, in Mumbai. Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and director Siddharth Anand participated in the meet. Shah Rukh Khan bowed to audiences and thanked them for such a thundering response. John Abraham stated that he always believed in the subject and he is happy with the gigantic response. Pathaan success has made Deepika Padukone more happy than ever has she made another successful pairing up with her favorite co-star SRK.
Siddharth Anand, the director of Pathaan, stated that during War filming, he got the idea for Pathaan. He stated that producer Aditya Chopra made it even bigger to launch YRF Spy Universe, where Tiger aka Salman Khan and Kabir aka Hrithik Roshan come together with Pathaan. Further, Director Siddharth Anand thanked audiences for the huge response and stated if any SRK film fails that is because of the director but not the actor, as he gives his 100 percent. He ended his speech with announcing Pathaan 2.
Shah Rukh Khan looked happy and stated that if he feels sad or happy, he comes to watch people standing there for him and feel loved, blessed. He sang Pathaan song and Deepika Padukone gave him a kiss, too. He did not talk about his next films Jawaan or Dunki, at the press interaction.
