Pathaan crossed Rs.900 crores on Friday and by Saturday, it hit Rs.924 crores, Worldwide. On 18th day Saturday, the film has collected Rs.11 crores Nett. gross and this is highest for a big star film in Hindi, that has huge first weekend. Pathaan is the comeback film for Shah Rukh Khan, after a 4 and half years gap. Siddharth Anand directed the film and Adithya Chopra, produced the film, on YRF. With Pathaan, YRF has decided to expand YRF Spy Universe by mixing War and Tiger franchise.
Dangal, the previous biggest hit for Hindi language film, collected more than Rs.538.03 crores gross in India. Pathaan crossed the collection with Rs.572 crores gross. Dangal without China markets in Overseas, collected Rs.217.2 crores gross and Pathaan collected Rs.352 crores, till date. The movie also crossed KGF Chapter 2 Rs.434 crores Nett. gross in Hindi and crossed Rs.450 crores, in Hindi and complete India Nett. gross is Rs.476.05 crores, including all languages. Pathaan has become first Hindi film in Overseas markets – except China, South Korea, Japan – to collect US$ 43 Million.
Baahubali 2 collected Rs.511 crores Nett. gross in Hindi and now, Pathaan has chances to collect Rs.500 crores Nett. gross in Hindi markets. It is on the path to become first original Hindi language film to hit Rs.1000 crores Gross, Worldwide. On 3rd Sunday, if Pathaan crosses Rs.950 crores gross, it will definitely go beyond Rs.1000 crores. Salman Khan played as Tiger in the film and SRK is expected to return the favour in Tiger 3. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham got good name and fame for their roles, in the film!
